New Zealand Whites I have been breeding New Zealand White rabbits now for over two years in Ireland - Please do not mistake me for other new zealand breeders. They are very popular due to the pleasant nature of the breed and also due to their fast growth. They were originally bred and created for use in the meat and fur trade but they equally make excellent pets and are very intelligent, friendly rabbits which makes them easy to work with. I supply breeding pairs to those wishing to breed some rabbits of their own. I offer advice on breeding and rearing this breed. Netherland Dwarfs I also have a small stud of Nether land Dwarf rabbits in a range of colours, Agouti, Black Self, Black Otter, Silver Fox, Marten Sable, Seal Point and Siamese Sable. I acquired my Netherland Dwarfs from the top Netherland breeders in Ireland & UK who are BRC registered and constantly show their stock, Some nice 2010 babies will be retained here for next year.
Mini Lion Lops - BEW New to Blackwater Rabbitry are blue eyed white mini lion lop's. My two doe's Tinkerbell, Wendy & my male Star. They are all Blue eyed white mini lion lop youngster's. I am hoping to have some pretty little babies next year with this trio.  The Californian I have some Californian whites - which are the Himalayan marked rabbits (Black markings on the ears, Paws and nose.) This is a breed that I am working on improving at the moment, I am aiming at producing striking, dark marking in contrast to their white fur which will take a few generations of breeding to perfect.   |
